First and foremost, in the ‘Happy Reading Month’ activity, in order to make books accompany children's beautiful life, implement the spirit of reading for one hour every day, carry out reading schedule design activities with the theme of ‘I read, I am happy, and I grow’, and cultivate students' reading habits and stimulate their interest in learning, the teachers of each class initially introduced the benefits of reading to the students, such as expanding their knowledge and improving their language skills; Afterwards, the teachers instructed students how to make an effective reading plan, including choosing suitable books and arranging reading time reasonably. Correspondingly, the students responded by making their own reading plans and sharing and communicating with each other.

Moreover, during the ‘Happy Reading Month’, the Primary School Division proceeded classic reading activities featuring ‘morning recitation and reading at noontime’, which made the sound of books reverberate on campus for a long time, adding a touch of books to the campus as well. Specifically, for one thing, morning chanting awakened students' enthusiasm for reading in that the fine Chinese culture is passed down from generation to generation in the sound of books. For another, reading at noontime is when students read independently by means of 10 minutes before going to bed at noon, aiming to help students accumulate extracurricular knowledge, expand their knowledge and stimulate their interest in reading.

In conclusion, the grand event ‘Happy Reading Month’ is still in progress. As is known to all, reading activity is a long-term, civilized, and healthy education project.
